History of Double Gap Farm
The Marshall family has been farming the land here since the revolutionary war. The track of land that the farm sits on was once owned by Daniel Marshall, who founded the first Baptist Church in Georgia. The land has remained in the family since then, and the farm take a 20 acre tract that is part of the 200+ acres that still belong to family members till this day.
Before moving to its current location, the farm was located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina from 1997 till 2012. Situated between two moutain passes, or “gaps” which gave us our farms name.
